Many of you are probably aware of the book I'm writing for Diezelpunk and Gestalt Comics (in collaboration with non-other than Greg Mclean — the writer and director of Aussie horror classics "Wolf Creek" and "Rogue"), and our crowd funding campaign. If you're not, head over to the following link —

Alright, done that? Good! Here's what's happening: over the next week or so, we'll be introducing a number of artists who have very graciously decided to commit their time and talent to a super exclusive guest art gallery in the back of the book — it's an exclusive collection of pin-ups and pieces inspired by the character(s) we're setting up and have built this (hopefully) upcoming series of books around. Talent so far includes

and more! Basically what happens this week is, over at the OZCOMICS facebook (
[link] page Greg, Wolf, Chris and myself will take a look at all the entries this week and will screen them for a possible spot in that gallery of artists in the first Sebastian Hawks book!
All you guys have to do is take a look at the character and see what you make of the world and then come up with a piece that you feel fits in with that world… think high adventure, danger, excitement, MONSTERS (very important!)… Just go wild — whatever comes to mind, go nuts, have fun, but just make sure it involves Hawks and/or his trusty assistant Benoit in some way.
Seriously, go crazy guys! If you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them, so just fire away. There's already a pretty solid amount of material Chris, Greg and myself have been making available online to start generating ideas for pieces, so take a look around (maybe check out the interview Greg and I did at the All Star Comics Melbournelaunch with Joe from the NonCanonical Comic Podcast as well:
