Interesting according to IMDB Brad Garrett did his voice.

You know I was watching this episode the other night...its one of my favorites (the fact that it was one of the few episodes I had on VHS dosent hurt) and it strikes me how good the animation is in this episode.

Oh definitely the animation is almost anime-esque in its fluidity and the monster designs (Toh'lay in particular) are spectaular.

Toh'lay was a true badass demon. They should have expanded on him in the episodes. Egon's Ghost I think was the actual episode where he appeared. Awesome portrayal as usual!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, he would've made a great return villain down the road!

Isn't he the same demonic dude who ruled an army of stone giants in another dimension?

Well, he's even less of a guy I'd want to meet on the other side of a portal. Awesome as always.

Wow, two in the box, today! This was a greater surprise because for some reason I thought you posted a finished version of this already but in a lighter shade some time ago. I love the darker color palette on this take, the look of his horns, shell, teeth, and the glowing red eyes like in the episode.

Yeah, I did, but I was never, ever happy with it. It was definitely in the right direction, but it never felt finished to me. I dig this one though :) Thanks for the kind words!

Very 'Lovecraft'-esque. One thing I do remember about the Real Ghostbusters, it was the only show in the 80s that actively tried to scare the ever loving crap out of you!

I know it was one of the few DIC shows I enjoyed along with I will freely admit Inspector Gadget and MASK.

I was fond of Dennis the Menace, but MASK and Gadget were up there for me too :)

Yeah, I remember Dennis the Menace, that was such a faithful adaptation of the Ketchem's strip. To DIC's credit they did not try to hip up or make Dennis current with the times rather they kept the characters iconic.

Very awesome. Always loved this episode. He looks more like something out of an anime.

Yeah, it's easily one of my favorites! I'm going to be mining this episode specifically next week. Look out for the Toh'lesian Terror Dog soon!

It kind of reminds me of a point I made some years ago. JMS gets allot of credit for RBG which is fine but in my opinion the best episodes were written by Micheal Reaves and Richard Meuller.

In all honesty, most of my favorite eps were written by those two. JMS is just the bigger name.

Wow, interesting pick. Love the use of the lines. Shading on the shell like back and horns is outstanding!

Cheers dude! Those horns were a prick and for some reason the shell never really sat right with me until the VERY end of it all!
